πŸ“Ή 5 MORE Knitting YouTube channels to watch

A few months ago we highlighted a few YouTube channels that we think are worth subscribing to.

But there are hundreds of channels devoted to knitting so we found a few more that are doing great work.

These channels cover everything from historical knitting to stitch pattern tutorials to advanced knitting techniques.

Here they are...

Knit With Hannah

Why we like it

Hannah has more than just another knitting tutorial channel. She covers a wide range of topics, but mostly she answers questions you might be thinking but never thought to ask. Her videos are simple and straightforward, but her content is very useful.

Nerdy Knitting

Why we like it

Tonia is a TKGA Master Knitter and certified knitting instructor, so she definitely knows her stuff. She does a great job of covering different knitting topics from multiple angles. And she has a very active community which she often collaborates with for her videos.

So Woolly

Why we like it

We stopped making stitch tutorials years ago, but this channel is still going strong. Not only do they have great stitch pattern videos, but they have many we've never seen before! We've even featured some here in our newsletter from time to time.

Roxanne Richardson

Why we like it

Roxanne is easily one of the smartest knitters on YouTube. She is also a TKGA Master Knitter and CYC Certified Teacher. If you need advice on advanced knitting techniques there are few channels better than this. Her videos often cover very technical knitting questions and she does great comparisons of different knitting methods.

Engineering Knits

Why we like it

Ever wondered what it's like to knit a 130 year old knitting pattern? Me either. But this channel dives deep into the historical knitting from the early 1800s to the late 1900s. Whether it's vintage knit stockings or a 1950s ski bonnet, no one covers knitting history like this channel.

So there you have it!

We chose these channels because they consistently produce some of the best YouTube content for knitters and we think they deserve your attention.

But there are tons of great channels out there.

Who's your favorite? Send us a recommendation for a future round up!

3D Honeycomb Stitch

Since we talked about So Woolly earlier we figured why not feature another of their stitch tutorials.

This textured stitch pattern looks like a bunch of honeycomb.

Its basically a mosaic style knitting stitch, but only in one color.

That means it's mostly knits and purls with some slipped stitches.

But no honey. 🍯

Victorian Toilet Cushion by Engineering Knits

In the Victorian era, the Toilet refers to a routine you do to get ready and dressed in the morning.

A toilet stool is what you would usually have handy to sit on while your were putting on makeup, stockings or performing any other parts of your morning Victorian routines.

Beautifully decorative Toilet Cushions were a common hand made item for the Victorian home.
